Hard Candy (Broken Windows)

These recipes are from GrammaSandy_MO Hard Candy (Broken Windows) 3 3/4 c sugar 1 1/2 c light corn syrup 1 c water 2-3 drops food coloring, your choice 1/4 t flavoring, your choice 1/2 c powdered sugar Butter 2 15x10x1 in pans. In large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water and food coloring. Cook and stir over med. heat til sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil. Cook, with out stirring, til candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees. Remove from heat and stir in flavoring. Immediately pur into pans; cool. Dust with powdered sugar break into pieces. Store in air-tight containers.
