TOFFEE COOKIE BARS

Although these are NOT from the TOH Cookie Swap, I did get them off the BB. Toffee Cookie Bars 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 3/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs 6 T. cocoa 1/4 cup sugar 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 3/4 c.toffee bits 1 c. chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a 9X13 pan. Combine the cookie crumbs, cocoa, and sugar, sprinkle over butter in the pan and pat down. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crumb layer. Sprinkle chocolate chips, toffee bits,and nuts evenly over the condensed milk in the order listed. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in the pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
