recipe from CJ Butter Pecan Fudge 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup pecan halves, chopped 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups confectioners' sugar In a large saucepan, bring the butter, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Allow to boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove the pan from the heat.& stir in the vanilla. Stir in the powdered sugar until smooth and fold in pecans. Spread into a buttered 8x8 pan. Cool to room temperature. Cut into 1" squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Makes 1 ¼ pound. |
