MissMouse Lemony-Lime Hummus Combine the following ingredients in a food processor (I used a blender, and it worked ok...just needed a bit more time and patience :) )..after processing, if the hummus is too thick, add water and blend until it reaches the desired consistency: 2 cans garbanzo beans 1 clove garlic 1/4 cup olive oil 1 lemon and 1 lime, zest and juiced 1 t. each coriander, cumin, and chili powder 1 T. apple cider vinegar 2 T. tahini (roasted flavor if possible) Pepper and salt to taste Water as necessary Serve with chips, or toasted pita or sourdough bread....YMMY!!! |
