Strawberry Caprese Pasta Salad

I've never thought of putting fruit in my pasta salad, so this one intrigues me.
 

Strawberry Caprese Pasta Salad

Prep time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

2 cups Driscoll's Strawberries
8 oz pasta shells, cooked
8 oz small mozzarella balls
1/4 cup slivered fresh basil
1/4 cup slivered red onion
1/4 cup prepared balsamic vinaigrette

 

Cooking Directions

Rinse cooked pasta with cool water and drain.
Drain mozzarella.

Combine pasta, cheese, strawberries, basil and red onion
in a large bowl.

Toss gently with balsamic vinaigrette until well coated.

Can be prepared ahead; dress just before serving.
